I try and get out of the office at least once a month to visit hotels and tour operators around the country. This month I visited Manuel Antonio and stayed at one of the areas nicest budget friendly hotels. Plaza Yara is located half way from the town of Quepos and Manuel Antonio Park. It is a great location and has everything you might want in a hotel. Hotwater, A/C, Cable, WiFi, are all standard wrapped in a modern clean room design. A small kitchenette with refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave add to the wonderful value of this hotel. The rooms are huge!
I like small hotels when I travel and Plaza Yara is just the kind of place I like to recommend to my clients looking for a nice deal. This is also a pet friendly hotel. Traveling I take one of my dogs Sasha with me who has epilepsy. It is important that she is near me as much as possible in case of an attack, so she comes on all my road trips. She loves to visit the beach and enjoys this time as much as I do.
Plaza Yara allows dogs and even has some resident pets. Havana the cat has the café named after her and can be found in her favorite chair on any day. She has a beautiful life and is loved by hotel staff and guests.
Here I am busy at work in the cafe. There is a strong artistic presence in the hotel from their gallery throughout the property. If you find yourself looking for a budget friendly option, this should be at the top of your list.
You can always tell when a hotel cares about what they do. It shows in every way at Plaza Yara and I encourage readers to try this nice boutique hotel if you are in the area. Not to mention you are just down the road from one of our most beloved Parks, Manuel Antonio.
